       The island that I chose is "Belize," is because I have always heard and seen a lot about Belize because I have a friend that is actually from Belize. Belize is on the Caribbean Coast of Northern Central America and shares the border with the Mexico State of "Quintana Roo." Belize is the second longest barrier reef in the world and is 240 miles off the coastline. Belize has never always been named Belize it became independent in 1981 which changed their name from "British Honduras to Belize." If you were to ever visit Belize there are a couple of places that are listed on the "Www.travelchannel.com," that you can go on and find out the places. You could take a drive through the Creole Villages which is 45 minutes from Belize City and you will come across "Burrell Boom," and that's where they make homemade fruit wine. Hello,       My name is Daiyana and I am from a small town in Michigan called Kalamazoo. I was born and raised there and then my mom moved me, her and my sister to Atlanta. I have been living in Atlanta, GA for 11 almost 12 years, so I pretty much have been here until now. In 2019, I graduated from South Gwinnett HS and also attended Maxwell for Cosmetology. I’ve always had a interest in doing hair since I was a kid due to the fact that that’s pretty much what I grew up around being around my grandma. Recently, I started a business named “Slayybydai,” in November of 2019 specializing in natural hair and silk presses. Silk presses have always been a interest in mine it’s just something about the whole process that just soothes and calms me down.
